LASG Boys State Meet Results

The boy’s competitive team from Los Alamos School of Gymnastics traveled to Rio Rancho during the weekend of March 12 to compete in the New Mexico State Championships. More than 100 gymnasts from eight teams competed in levels 4-10.
 
Kyle Hatler was the high finisher for Los Alamos taking the Bronze in the all around for the senior age division in level 5 with 60.20. Hatler also took gold on the parallel bars with 10.60 (earning bonus), and silver on high bar (10.70), pommel horse (10.20), and floor (9.60).
 
Jon Gilbert was sixth in the same division with 55.00. Gilbert also took a bronze on vault with 10.00. 
 
Troy Makela was seventh in this division with 53.20. Makela took a bronze on rings with 10.40. All three level 5 boys qualified to the regional championships in Colorado Springs.
 
Daniel Fryer competed level 6, finishing sixth with 50.50. Fryer took silver on parallel bars with 9.70 and bronze on vault with 9.60. He also qualified to the region 9 championships to be held at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs over LAPS spring break on Easter weekend.
