Los Alamos School of Gymnastics boys team competed March 16-17 in the N.M. JO State Championships at Eagle Ridge Gymnastics in Rio Rancho.
Daniel Fryer, Los Alamos’ lone level 7 competitor placed fifth all around with 67.40. Fryer placed fourth on floor with 8.50, fifth on parallel bars with 9.10, fifth on hi bar with 9.10, sixth on rings with 9.80, and seventh on vault with 9.40.
Kyle Hatler, Los Alamos’ lone level 6 competitor missed the meet for a school function.
In the level 5 competition Marek Jablonski placed fifth all around with 53.40. Jablonski took silver with a 10.00 on hi bar, and bronze with a 10.10 on rings. Men’s gymnastics allows for bonus.
Munayo Ferreira also competed in level 5. Ferreira won gold on vault with 9.50, and placed fourth on rings and fifth on parallel bars scoring 9.00 on both events.
