LARSO Annual Public Meetings April 15, 19

LARSO News:

The Los Alamos Retired & Seniors Organization will host a public meeting at both local senior centers in April to hear ideas, concerns and feedback about the services it provides.

The meeting at the Betty Ehart Senior Center, 1101 Bathtub Row,  will be noon Monday, April 15.

The meeting at the White Rock Senior Center, 35 Rover Blvd., will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 19.

Plan to attend one of these meetings to become familiar with the services provided at the senior centers and to share ideas for new services needed.

About the Senior Centers

The mission of the Los Alamos Senior Centers is to provide service, fellowship, instruction and advocacy for Los Alamos citizens who are 60 years of age and older.

The Center is a place where seniors can learn, share meals, socialize, have fun and support each other as they interact with a respectful and service-oriented staff.

Two senior centers are available to carry out this mission. The senior center in Los Alamos is located next to Mesa Library and is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

The senior center in White Rock is located in the Municipal Complex and is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and 2-3 p.m. Sunday.
