As part of saying thank you to parents and the community, Los Alamos Public School principals are offering personally guided tours of school buildings and facilities in Los Alamos. Here is what you might see. 

Los Alamos High School went through a major renovation in 2011-12. Current construction projects at the high school include the Topper Freshman Academy, Music Wing and upgrades to Smith Auditorium. If you take a tour of the Los Alamos Middle School, you will see a remodel of the main classroom wing that was completed in 2013 along with a current project to upgrade the Middle School Cafeteria and Kitchen. 

The Aspen Elementary School remodel was completed during 2013-14. Tours at Barranca, Chamisa, Mountain and Piñon elementary schools will show major maintenance projects along with areas for future improvements.

Chamisa Elementary School

  • Thursday, Oct. 6 @ 5:30pm
  • Thursday, Oct. 13 @ 5:30pm

Mountain Elementary School

  • Thursday, Sept. 29 – 3:45 – 4:30pm
  • Monday, Oct. 3 – 3:45 – 4:30pm

Piñon Elementary School

  • Wednesday, Sept. 28 @ 12:30pm
  • Wednesday, Oct. 5 @ 12:30pm
