LAPS News:

The Los Alamos Public Schools has created a Mental Health Design Team that has been charged with providing a report to the Board of Education by the end of November that includes a statement of preferred future for mental health programs in Los Alamos Public Schools, a brief situational assessment, a gap analysis and drafting a 3-5 year LAPS Mental Health Project Plan.

One of the first tasks is to gather community and stakeholder input. This survey will focus on the state of mental health awareness and support that we desire.

Surveys are available is Spanish and English at school sites and Central Office through the Office of the Assistant Superintendent. Click on this link to the survey via Survey Monkey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/J2RNXDW.

Please take some time to complete the survey and share with your friends, community members, professional communities and those in the mental health professional community.

We are encouraging all to complete the survey and turn in results by Sept. 15, 2015.

Completed paper surveys can be dropped off at Central Office at 2075 Trinity Dr. (attention the Office of the Assistant Superintendent) or at school sites.
