LAPS Kindergarten Roundup Wednesday April 13

Get on board for the Kindergarten Roundup starting at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 13 at each of the district’s elementary schools and Los Alamos Online Learning Academy (LAOLA).

Children who will turn five by Sept. 1, 2022 are eligible to enroll in kindergarten for the 2022-23 school year, and are invited to attend Kindergarten Roundup with their parents. This is an opportunity for families to get an idea of what to expect for kindergarten.

At the Roundup, prospective students and families will get to meet kindergarten teachers, principals, school nurses, school counselors and other key school personnel and ask questions about kindergarten. Students will visit classrooms and participate in several activities, while parents/guardians will learn more about kindergarten programs, and school services and supports.
