Calling All Volunteers!
As part of National Safe Schools Week, Los Alamos Public Schools and the Los Alamos Rotary Club will be welcoming students to school the morning of Monday, Oct. 22 for elementary schools and Thursday, Oct. 25 for middle and high school.
The community is invited to join LAPS and the Rotary Club to hand out glow-in-the-dark bracelets and talk about staying safe at school.
The bracelets are a reminder of the LAPS safety message, “See something, say something!” along with firstname.lastname@example.org. This email address is for anyone to report safety issues or ask questions.
All visitors should check in that morning with the school’s front office to receive a visitor’s badge.
Thank you to the Rotary Club for sponsoring this school safety event. Direct questions to Deb Larson or Kurt Steinhaus at 505.663.2230.
