LAPS Free Summer Lunch Program June 11 – Aug. 3

Los Alamos Public Schools will begin hosting a free Summer Food Service Program June 11 to Aug. 3 in conjunction with the New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department.
 
This free lunch program is being provided by the school district’s food service partners, Chartwells is at Aspen Elementary School. No ID or paperwork is necessary.
 
A full lunch will be provided noon to 1 p.m., snacks 1-1:15 p.m. and all meals are served on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants must be 1-18 years of age to receive a meal.
 
The Summer Food Service Program, administered by the CYFD’s Family Nutrition Bureau, provides nutritious meals to children during the summer when school is not in session. Read more about the Family Nutrition Bureau and its programs here.
 
Aspen Elementary is at 2182 33rd St., in Los Alamos.
