LAPD: Suspect Identified Through Crime Stoppers Tip

  • Suspect charged in connection with local residential burglaries

The Los Alamos Police Department Investigation Section has obtained an arrest warrant on a suspect that is related to recent Los Alamos County residential burglaries.

Michael Gennaro Daddio of Corrales was identified through a tip to Los Alamos Crime Stoppers from an anonymous person watching a KOB news report.

The tip led LAPD investigator Det. Wolking to identify Daddio who is incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque.

An arrest warrant has been issued on Daddio for four counts of theft of identity, which is a fourth-degree felony. The investigation is still ongoing, and more charges are expected to be filed by Los Alamos Police and other surrounding agencies.

“Residential burglaries are a top priority for the Los Alamos Police Departmen,” Cmdr. Oliver Morris said. “The use of L.A. Crime Stoppers and the investigative effort of the Los Alamos Investigations and Patrol Division have a far and effective reach. We will continue to pursue burglary investigations and ensure our citizens and their homes are secure. Residents should always report burglaries promptly and secure their homes in our community.”
