LAPD News:
A 1994 Ford Taurus Wagon, bikes, tools, a guitar and jewelry are among the items to be auctioned 9-10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 21 by the Los Alamos Police Department.
“All items to be sold are found or unclaimed property that has been in the possession of the Department for more than 90 days. By law, anything valued at more than $50 has to be auctioned. If not sold, it has to be destroyed,” Crime Scene/Evidence Tech Anthony Lucero said.
The auction will be cash only and government-issued identification will be required to bid. All items will be sold “as is, where is” Lucero said, and must be picked up the day of the auction. No previewing will be allowed and no additional information will be given until the day of the auction.
Anyone who believes they are the true owner of any of the auction items should contact Lucero prior to Nov. 21 at 505.663.1888.
The auction will he held on the south side of the LAPD building at 2500 Trinity Dr.
