COUNTY News:

Los Alamos Police Department (LAPD) will conduct a large-scale department interoperability training exercise from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 12 at the Los Alamos Middle School. Officers will also be using the North Mesa Picnic Grounds as a staging area. 

Although the public will see extensive police activity as part of the exercise, LAPD wants to reassure the public there is no reason to be alarmed and asks the public to avoid the area near the Los Alamos Middle School during the hours of the exercise.
