LAPD Joins DEA Drug Take-Back Initiative Oct. 27

LAPD News:

The Los Alamos Police Department has announced that it will once again host a collection site 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 as part of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s drug take-back day initiative.

Site Location: Los Alamos Police Department North parking lot at 2500 Trinity Dr.

“The Los Alamos Police Department wants to encourage citizens to turn in unwanted or unused prescription medication for destruction,” Cmdr. Oliver Morris said. “This initiative is crucial to remove controlled medications that have a potential for theft or abuse. Please do not bring needles or liquid medications.”
