Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) R&D Scientist Joel Kulesza will staff The Periodic Table 5:30-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18 at Bathtub Row Brewing at 163 Central Park Square in downtown Los Alamos.

As an outreach activity of LANL’s Bradbury Science Museum, Kulesza stacks the deck of knowledge with insight into Monte Carlo simulations, models used to predict the likelihood of different outcomes when situations get random.

From its Manhattan Project origins to its current use in everything from nuclear engineering to finance, Kulesza will delve into your questions about Monte Carlo.
