The RoboRAVE Rally is a robotics competition in which 58 registered student robotics teams (from elementary to high school age) from across the region – Los Alamos, Taos, Santa Fe, Las Vegas, Springer, Española, Abiquiu and Santa Clara – compete with their autonomous robots in a range of events including line-following, navigating a maze and robot jousting.
The Rally also incorporates the NNM Science Showdown, which provides hands-on STEM demonstrations from education partners including Explora Science Center and Children’s Museum, and the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC), together with volunteers from Los Alamos National Laboratory.
