Monday, they launched their Bright Futures campaign and invite the public to join them in building a brighter future for Northern New Mexico by contributing to scholarships for local students.
LANL Scholar Lizeth Anaya-Ojeda is a first-generation college student from Northern New Mexico. She graduated from Espanola Valley High School in 2018. That same year, Anaya-Ojeda was awarded a LANL Scholarship and went on to attend New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. She is a senior finishing up her Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication.
“Scholarships are an investment not only in the youth of the community, but in the future of that community as well. I think it is important for students to feel supported and recognized,” Anaya-Ojeda said.
When you support the LANL Scholarship Fund through this campaign, you are supporting the dreams and ambitions of students like Lizeth.
