LANL Foundation Education Grants Available

LANL FOUNDATION News:

The LANL Foundation offers Educational Outreach Small Grants to school districts and nonprofits with programs that strengthen teaching and learning.

Grants of up to $1,500 are available monthly to support public schools and nonprofits working in K-12 education in Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Sandoval, Santa Fe and Taos counties. Nonprofit focus should be on teacher professional development, curriculum enhancement, and support for classroom instruction and student learning. Grants are no longer restricted to programs related to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math).

Organizations are eligible to receive one grant per calendar year. Only one school or program in each of the 20 school districts is eligible for a grant each year. Awardees that received LANL Foundation grants in previous years and did not meet all of the reporting deadlines or other requirements of their funding agreements are ineligible to receive any future small grants.

Applications are due on or before the 15th of each month, excluding December and may be submitted online at www.lanlfoundation.org/grants.
