LANL FOUNDATION News:

Pennie Ballinger of Pojoaque Pueblo, Justina Coriz of Cochiti Pueblo and Jahneah Martinez of Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo are the 2017 recipients of Northern New Mexico Tribal Business Scholarships provided by the LANL Foundation through the Los Alamos Employees’ Scholarship Fund (LAESF).

 Justina Coriz

Scholarships are one-time awards of $1,000 for members of a local Pueblo or Tribe majoring in accounting, business administration, finance or management information systems degree programs or other business-related field.

LANL Foundation administers LAESF, and an advisory committee of Tribal members and Los Alamos National Laboratory employees determines the mission and goals of the program and selects winners. Awards are funded by contributions from LANL employees, retirees, contractors, community members and Los Alamos National Security, LLC.

Application deadline for 2018 awards will be announced in spring.
