All are Los Alamos High School graduates except Dubey, who is a graduate of New Mexico School for the Arts. The LANL Employees’ Scholarship Fund awarded $419,500 in scholarships to students in Northern New Mexico. Funding comes from donations by LANL employees and a $250,000 match from Los Alamos National Security, LLC (LANS). Rich Marquez, Executive Director at LANL and a member of the Foundation Board, advised the students to be careful what was in their backpack as they headed for college. “Take your value system, take things to remind you of home, take this check, take the knowledge you have help from 2,300 PhDs at the Lab if you need it and take your dreams,” Marquez said.
