Los Alamos National Bank (LANB) announced Thursday it will donate $14,050.08 to the United Way of Northern New Mexico.
The funds were collected during the bank’s annual Employee Giving Campaign, which took place last fall.
The Employee Giving Campaign is held across the bank’s three markets in Los Alamos, Santa F and Albuquerque. Employees can elect to support the United Way of Central New Mexico, United Way of Northern New Mexico or the Santa Fe Community Foundation.
The campaign includes a variety of fundraising activities, including selling Casual Day stickers, bake sales, an online auction and payroll deductions. Overall, the campaign raised $52,688.20.
“LANB has a long history of giving back to the community and it continued with this year’s campaign.
I’m so proud of our employees who donated their funds, time and talents to support the United Way’s mission,” said Liddie Martinez, market president for Los Alamos. “The United Way of Northern New Mexico is an incredible resource for our community and their mission aligns closely with ours: to improve the lives of our neighbors and fuel economic success.”
LANB also contributed $25,000 to the Cornerstone Corporate Sponsor program for the United Way of Northern New Mexico and Liddie Martinez is the incoming president of their board.
