LANB Hires Market Area President For Los Alamos

New LANB Market President in Los Alamos Liddie Martinez.

Los Alamos National Bank (LANB) has hired Liddie Martinez as Market President in Los Alamos. Martinez brings over twenty years of economic development experience to the bank and will lead LANB’s efforts to drive economic growth in the area.

“We are committed to making positive contributions to the communities we serve,” states Stan Sluder, Chief Lending Officer and Director of Sales. “Liddie’s decades of experience at the intersection of economic and community development provides us the kind of leadership that aligns with our values, enabling us to exceed the expectations of our customers and communities.”

Martinez will manage, direct and drive the development and growth of LANB’s Los Alamos market. She will also coordinate the delivery and support of all bank services to include loans, deposit products, wealth management and other banking services.

Most recently, Martinez was Executive Director of the Regional Development Corporation for Northern New Mexico. She previously served as Division Director of Community & Economic Development for SOC Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). 

An advocate for workforce development, community investment and education initiatives, Martinez has proven her passion for improving the lives of others through her volunteerism and community outreach. She served as Board President of the  LANL Foundation and Leadership New Mexico and currently serves on the board of the LANL Subcontractor Consortium, Think New Mexico, New Mexico Economic Development Rural Council, Northern New Mexico College Foundation, and the Los Alamos Commerce and Development.
