LAMTA News:
It has been more than two years since the talented, young pianists of Los Alamos have been able to present a collective, in-person public recital.
The COVID-19 pandemic has restricted the Los Alamos Music Teachers Association (LAMTA) from featuring students in the Sunday Musicale Series.
An ongoing event for more than 25 years, LAMTA’s Sunday Musicales have always been regular public presentations in both fall and spring terms for the public’s enjoyment and to highlight appreciation of the city’s musically talented youth. The performers, their families and teachers, are all eager to be able to resume these public performances at historic Fuller Lodge.
This Sunday’s Musicale (at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27) will feature 19 young pianists between the ages of 7 to 17, each selected by their respective teacher as being well-prepared for public performance.
The recital is FREE and open to the public. Parking is easily available in the lot adjacent to Fuller Lodge.
