LAMS Students Hold Supplies Drive For Homeless May 8

LAMS News:

Bella Blair, an 8th grader at Los Alamos Middle School (LAMS) and her partner Caden Fichtl are doing speech and debate this year for their final.

They were challenged to find a problem in the community and they chose the homeless population in Santa Fe in need of supplies/covid supplies.

They have come up with a plan to hold a drive May 8 at LAMS.

Blair and Fichtl will collect items such as unused/unopened face masks, UNUSED blankets, New socks, jackets, UNUSED feminine hygiene products, toothbrushes, TRAVEL SIZE toothpaste, UNUSED hand sanitizer, UNOPENED nonperishable food, UNUSED toilet paper, UNOPENED deodorant, UNUSED combs/hair brushes, UNOPENED/UNUSED nail hygiene products, UNUSED cleaning supplies, etc. (Items need to be unused, clean and sanitized).
