LAMS Cross Country Girls And Boys Win 1st Place At Saturday’s ATC Everybody Invite

The Los Alamos Middle School boys and girls cross country teams each won 1st place at Saturday’s ATC Everybody Invite.  

With 107 total runners in the girls race, the Hawks placed their top 5 runners in the top 11 overall, for a total team score of 44 points and a first place finish. The Hawks were led by Hannah Gartz (6th), Neha Sadasivan (8th), Than Povi Martinez (9th), Lidia Appell (10th) and Amaya Coblentz (11th).
 
With 144 total runners in the boys race, the Hawks placed their top 5 runners in the top 12 overall, including an individual overall win by Rafael Sanchez, for a total team score of 30 points and a first place finish. The Hawks were led by Rafael Sanchez (1st), Steven Strevell (3rd), Gavin Campos (5th), Hunter Swavely (9th), and Dominic Martinez (12th).
