Staff Report

Lamphouse Sales is opening Nov. 5 at 106C Longview Dr., in White Rock. The new business offers the public a unique way of doing garage sales.

“We sell for you,” owners Gary and Caroyle Kemp said. “Customers can drop off their items for consignment, or we can pick them up in White Rock and Los Alamos for a fee, including gently used furniture, artwork, lamps, computers and other items. These items are then brought into our store to sell to the public at a set price that the customer sets, (minus a consignment fee).

Lamphouse Sales is only open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.

“This allows us to get items to the store and prepare them for sale,” the couple said, adding that they keep items in their store for 30 days. At that point if they haven’t sold, customers can pick up their items.

To arrange for an item pick up or to learn more, contact Lamphouse Sales at 505.699.2462 or email Lamphousesales@gmail.com.
