COMMUNITY News:

Just a reminder to people that the Los Alamos Medical Center Gift Shop is a non-profit, tax free shop that returns all the profits back to the community.

The organization has a Community & Welfare Committee that reviews requests for funds and doles the money out. They support the nurses by buying their books needed for classes; have an indigent pharmacy program, and many other ways of helping the Northern New Mexico community.

The gift shop is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and offers a wide variety of gifts, toys, cards and lots of other interesting items including fresh flowers by Gillian.

Visit the LAMC Gift Shop on the first floor of the hospital near the main entrance at 3917 West Road.
