The ‘Topper Boys and Girls Cross Country teams once again dominated the 2AAAAA District Championship, hosted by Del Norte and held on the trails along the foothills of the Sandias in Albuquerque this morning.
 
The Girls took places 1-6, achieving a perfect score. Maddy Foley was individual District Champion, closely followed by teammates Talia Dreicer and Sophia Galvez.
 
The Boys won with a score of 21. Hayden Walker was individual District Champion.
 
The State Championship is next Saturday morning at Rio Rancho High School. As usual, the 5A competition for State Champion is between Los Alamos and Albuquerque Academy for the Boys and between Los Alamos, Albuquerque Academy, and St. Pius for the Girls.
