SPORTS News:

Wednesday night, Oct. 19 was the dig pink games for the Los Alamos High School Volleyball teams.

The teams wore pink to raise awareness and money for Breast Cancer Research. Players dedicated the games to family, friends or teachers who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Coach Deedi Stokes had a very special dedication last night for fellow head coach and friend Elizabeth Green-Pagoulatos (Albuquerque Academy head coach) who suffered a brain aneurysm and the players wore red ribbons in their hair to honor her.

All three of the LAHS volleyball teams came up with wins at the games. The C team won in two games, JV went to three and the Varsity got the best three out of five for the win.
