LAHS News:

Los Alamos High School teacher Lynn Ovaska and her students hope to raise funds through coffee sales to take LAHS teacher Joy Handsberry on the class trip to Europe to celebrate her end of chemotherapy.

The coffee comes in French Roast, Dark Roast, Medium Roast, and Decaf, whole or ground, for $12 for a 10-ounce package. The label was created by LAHS student Caroline Schramm. and checks can be made payable to “Europe 2014.”

According to Ovaska, the coffee is kosher, certified organic, Fair Trade certified, and fresh-roasted. It raises incomes and living standards for small coffee farmers and their families while helping to protect the environment.
