Seven students from Los Alamos High School attended a Fall Leadership Conference in Albuquerque Oct. 21, sponsored by New Mexico Career Technical Student Organizations.
The students, Mariah Armijo, Jonathan Coons, Kes Luchini, Isaiah Madrid-Archuleta, Kayla Tousley and Danielle Wolf are all members of FCCLA (Family Career and Community Leaders of America), a national organization developing leadership skills through community service projects and culinary skill related competitions.
During this conference, more than 300 career and technical education students participated in energizing workshops developing essential leadership skills in the areas of strategic planning, effective communication, team building and professionalism.
New Mexico’s Career Leadership Program is dedicated to helping New Mexico’s students prepare for career and college opportunities.
