LAHS Rotary Interact Club Collection Of Donations For Homeless Is Set For 7:30 A.M. To 5 P.M. Wednesday, Nov. 18

UPDATE: This event is still on 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at a designated drop off area in the Duane Smith Auditorium.

LAHS News:

During this season of giving, the Los Alamos High School Rotary Interact Club will be holding a community wide donation project to assist the homeless population in New Mexico.

The club will be accepting donations 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at a designated drop off area in the Duane Smith Auditorium parking lot.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this will be a contactless system, with collection bins ready for donation drop offs.

Donations may include, but are not limited to:

  • Socks, Gloves, Hats, Jackets;
  • Water bottles;
  • Bandages;
  • Hygiene related products: toothbrush and toothpaste, wet wipes, nail clippers;
  • Foods such as tuna & cracker packs, and/or single-serving snacks: trail mix, nuts; and
  • Masks.

Any and all donations are welcome and appreciated. Members of the LAHS Interact Club thank you for your help and generosity in making a difference to the homeless population during this season.

The goal of the club is benefit the community through service and involvement.
