LAHS NJROTC Wins First Place Team Award

NJROTC News:

Members of Los Alamos High School Navy JROTC shooting team traveled to Salt Lake City last weekend to compete in the Western Navy Championships.

The precision team of Tessa Snyder, Brandon Frank, Noah Marriott and John Gibson beat out the team from Socorro High School in El Paso, Texas for the first place team award.

Three members of the team made the Top 8 finals match. Receiving individual awards were Tessa Snyder (third overall), Brandon Frank (fourth overall and Noah Marriott seventh overall.

Additionally, John Gibson and Samuel Wolfe were awarded medals for ninth and tenth place respectively .

In the sporter class, Nikita Belooussov placed fourth individually and set a new unit record in the kneeling position with a 97.
