LAPS News:

The Los Alamos High School Rotary Interact Club collected 584 food donations during the Spread the Warmth Food Drive. These donations, worth 333 meals, were delivered to the Food Depot in Santa Fe. Donations were collected at school sites, the Unitarian Church, the Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Crossroads Bible Church, and the New Beginnings Fellowship.

Club president Alyssa Sun, along with officers John Kang, Matthea Fung, Lucia Rudin, and Emily Xu spearheaded the project. “We are very grateful to everyone who helped make this project a
success,” she said.

LAHS teacher Michela Ombelli is the club sponsor along with the Rotary Club of Los Alamos. The LAHS Interact Club started in 2014. This year, the club has about 30 regular members with a total of 110 members.
