LAHS Hosts Food Drive For LA Cares Wednesday

LAHS News:

Los Alamos High School (LAHS) is holding a food drive to benefit LA Cares.

There will be a drop box 9:30-11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17 in front of Duane Smith Auditorium at 1300 Diamond Dr.

Please donate various canned foods.

Desired food donations include:

  • 64 oz. Plastic Bottles Cranberry or Grape Juice
  • Canned Beans
  • Canned Chicken or Tuna
  • Canned Corn or Green Beans
  • Canned Diced Tomatoes
  • Canned Mandarin Oranges or Pineapple
  • Canned Mexican Food
  • Canned Pasta Sauce (No Glass, Please)
  • Cereal – Raisin Bran, Bran Flakes, Cheerios, Shredded Wheat, or Corn Flakes
  • Chef Boyardee Pasta
  • Chicken Noodle Soup
  • Chunky or Hearty Soup
  • Cooking Oil
  • Crackers, Nuts, & Snacks
  • Ground Coffee
  • Macaroni & Cheese
  • Mayonnaise or Salad Dressing
  • Mustard or Ketchup
  • Oats or Oatmeal
  • 1 lb. to 5 lb. Bags of Flour
  • 4 lb. Bags of White Sugar or 1-2 lb. Brown Sugar
  • Bars of Soap
  • Deodorant 
  • Shampoo
  • Toothpaste
  • Toothbrushes
  • Toilet Paper
  • Feminine Products
  • Regular Grocery Size PAPER Bags

Items not needed during this food drive:
