Los Alamos High School 2010 graduate Sydney Sivils was one of six recipients of UNM’s Clauve Award for outstanding seniors, presented April 4. The Clauve Award honors Lena C. Clauve, the university’s first dean of women.
The award is given for outstanding achievements in the areas of leadership, academics and campus involvement. To qualify, students must be nominated by staff or faculty who have witnessed the dedication of exceptional students.
Sivils will graduate with honors in May with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Operations Management. After graduation, she will begin her career with Target Corporation in Scottsdale, Ariz.
