The Los Alamos High School Fall Golf Invitational included 115 golfers from 16 different schools.

The LAHS girls golf team earned its first state qualifying leg of the 2012/2013 season. Three qualifying legs are required to get to state. It’s a good position to be with 11 tournaments to compete in between now and next April, said Coach Mike Lippiatt, adding that the team only needs two more qualifiers. Aislinn McDonald and Bri Sanderson led the Topper girls charge with 93 and 95 respectively.

The Topper boys team finished in the middle of the pack. Although they did not get a qualifying leg, they did display a nice start. Johnny Osden and Alexei Appert led the Topper boys with 84 and 86 respectively.
