POLITICAL News:

The Los Alamos Federated Republican Women hosted a 2014 Republican Candidate Meet & Greet event Thursday in the lower-level of a building at 15th Street near Central Avenue.

Fifteen state and local candidates spoke at the event, presenting their background, experience and what they offer to the respective office for which they are running.

In addition, three candidates had representatives speak for them. Afterward, those in attendance had time to personally meet and ask questions of the candidates.

A raffle and jewelry sales were available at the event and the LAFRW provided hors d’oeuvres.
