The Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation (LACDC) announced today the appointment of David Jolly as chairman of its Board of Directors. He replaces outgoing Chair Bill Wadt.
“I’m excited about this opportunity to lead the LACDC Board and to use my retail experience which is something that the LACDC needs,” said David Jolly, general manager of Metzger’s Do It Best.
Jolly moved to Los Alamos in 2009 and is a previous employee of Russell Lands On Lake Martin in central Alabama.
“Dave’s knowledge and experience with small retail as well as his commitment to the community make him a great choice for chair of the LACDC Board,” LACDC Executive Director Patrick Sullivan said.
The LACDC board of directors is comprised of 15 individuals from the Los Alamos community and functions to direct the company in its initiative to promote sustainable economic progress in Los Alamos and the region.
