The Los Alamos Arts Council (LAAC) is winding down a busy summer with a week of activities at the Fuller Lodge. Starting noon Wednesday, it will host the monthly Daytime Performance Concert, featuring Jeremiah Glauser. This event is free to the public and open to all ages.

“Full time country music singer Jeremiah Glauser is New Mexico’s premier country music solo artist! Steeped in the tradition of country from his grandfather and his parents being Nashville style performers.”

Then Thursday, in partnership with the Manhattan Project National Historical Park (MAPR) and The MAPR Friends Group, LAAC will host a showing of the documentary film “Richland” followed by a luminaria lighting in the Rose Garden as part of the MAPR Los Alamos Site of Manhattan Project National Historical Park Hosting Day of Peace and Remembrance in Observance of Atomic Bombings of Japan. The film will be shown at 6:30 p.m. with an introspective walk to the rose garden and luminaria viewing at 8 p.m. These events are free to the public and all are welcome.
Friday, LAAC and Friends of MAPR will present “Richland” to the public at Los Alamos Little Theater. This screening will be followed by a Q&A by the film maker. This event is also free to the public and all are welcome to attend. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Saturday, the Los Alamos Arts Council Summer Arts and Crafts Fair kicks off at 9 a.m. on Fuller Lodge lawn. With more than 100 arts and crafts vendors, this is the perfect way to wind down after the busy back to school week.
