Los Alamos Arts Council announces its annual meeting at 7 p.m. today in the Pajarito Room of Fuller Lodge. Prior to the meeting at 6 p.m., the community is invited to join Los Alamos Arts Council in welcoming Taos Opera Institute’s “Cantos De Taos 2019”! The Moipei Triplets– Mary, Maggie and Marta– will present a lovely concert with music ranging from Mozart to Rogers and Hammerstein to Folk Songs. They will be accompanied by accomplished pianist, Billie Whittaker.
The Annual Meeting will allow LAAC to present the events of the past year to the community, elect new board members, and draw winners for the two painting it has for this year’s raffle. Raffle tickets will be available at the door, and are $5 each, or five for $20. All Los Alamos community members are welcome to join in on all the events! A reception will be held following the meeting.
The annual meeting is free but donations will be accepted. Memberships to the LAAC can be purchased for $15.
