LAAC News:

Los Alamos Arts Council (LAAC) announced April 21 that the physical May 2 Arts and Crafts Fair was cancelled due to the restrictions by the New Mexico Governors Office.

To support vendors who would appear in the fair, and to continue to provide a shopping experience for the Los Alamos Community, LAAC created a Virtual Craft Fair.

Patrons who visit LAAC’s website https://losalamosartscouncil.org/may-2nd-and-3rd-virtual-craft-fair/ May 2 and May 3 will see a list of craft fair vendors who have offered free shipping or discounts to patrons who shop that weekend. The website will go live at midnight May 2, and be up through 11:59 p.m. May 3.

Multiple vendors have joined the Virtual Craft Fair, and many are offering free shipping or discounts on merchandise for the weekend, and some even longer.

Los Alamos Arts Council feels that it is critical to support vendors during these difficult times. COVID-19 has caused many fairs across the nation to cancel, and small vendors are struggling.

The Virtual Fair is a fantastic opportunity to shop for something for Mom for Mother’s Day, May 10, or get something for yourself that you’ve always wanted!

Join the Los Alamos Arts Council May 2 and May 3. Shop small, shop local, and enjoy the talent of the artisans of the Los Alamos Arts Council Spring Arts and Crafts Fair.
