The Los Alamos County Little League 9-11 All Stars Wednesday night defeated Espanola Valley Little League All Stars for the District 1 title at Miles Park in Santa Fe.
During the game, Los Alamos jumped out to a 4 run lead in the first inning, but EVLL came back to tie the game in the third inning.
In the 4th inning, Los Alamos took the lead for good and won the game 10-7.
Wednesday night’s win allows the LACLL team to progress to the state meet July 14 in Carlsbad.
