The Los Alamos County 10-12 Little League team won game two to stay at the top of the brackets in the District 1 All Star tournament played Thursday at the Lou Caveglia field on North Mesa. They took on the tough Pojoaque Valley Little League All Stats.

The game was very close for much on the first five innings; however, the wheels seemed to fall off the defense of the PVLL in the top of the sixth inning as the LACLL ran up 11 rounds, with two out in the inning.

PVLL could answer with only two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to give the LACLL the win in a score of 18-8. LACLL will progress to the next game to be played at 10 a.m. July 20 at Lou Caveglia Field on North Mesa.
