LA Cares Continues Helping Community During Pandemic

LA CARES News:

Local food pantry LA Cares is continuing the serve Los Alamos County residents during the COVID-19 pandemic.

LA Cares distributes food boxes once a month. The next distribution is April 9 and 10. In order to observe healthy distances, distribution will look a little different in April.

Residents will be asked to drive-thru to pick up their box (there will be no extra “shopping the room” at this time). Anyone who resides in Los Alamos County who has seen a temporary drop in income is welcome to register.

For more details and to register for a food box, call the message line at 505.661.8015. Anyone with an immediate need for food assistance, call 505.661.8015 for assistance.

At this time LA Cares cannot accept food donations, but cash donations are always appreciated. Please send checks to LA Cares at PO Box 248, Los Alamos, NM 87544.
