Kiwanis Clubs Host Mid‐Year Conference

KIWANIS News:

The Southwest District of Kiwanis held their annual mid‐year conference Saturday, March 2 at the La Fonda Hotel in Santa Fe.

Representatives from Los Alamos’ two K-Kids Clubs (Aspen and  Barranca Elementary) and Builders Club  at Los Alamos Middle School were invited to make presentations describing their club’s activities.

Representatives and their clubs are as follows: Katherine Elton, president of Aspen Elementary K-Kids Club; Neha Sadasivan, president of Barranca Elementary K-Kids Club and Esperanza Tapia, president of the Middle School Builders Club. 

Don Casperson is the Kiwanis advisor for the Los Alamos clubs. Audrey Juliani is the Barranca staff advisor and Sharon Allen is the Aspen staff advisor. 

All the clubs are helping to support Project Eliminate, a Kiwanis 3-year initiative to rid the world of neonatal tetanus.
