This is an important fundraiser for the Club because of this year’s cancelation of the annual 4th of July fireworks extravaganza due to severe drought conditions. The funds raised from the fireworks event are used to do good works in the community and the Club is hoping to make up a portion of that loss by selling the popular See’s Candies. Kiwanians will be back in front of Bennett’s Fine Jewelry and Gifts 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. They also will be selling See’s Candies 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7 in the lobby of Los Alamos National Bank and Del Norte Credit Union on Knecht at Trinity Drive, 6:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday Dec. 8 during the Breakfast with Santa event at the Betty Ehart Senior Center and again 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14 in the lobby of LANB and DNCU.
