Kiwanis Club Presents Scholarship to Lauren TenCate

KIWANIS News:

The Los Alamos Kiwanis Club presented Lauren TenCate with a scholarship this past Tuesday. Lauren was recognized for her participation in community activities such as the Cafe Scientifique Youth Leadership Team, UNM-LA Kids College, Empty Bowls, and the Bradbury Science Museum High Tech Halloween.

At LAHS, she also participated in the first robotics team, German Club and Natural Helpers. Lauren will be attending MIT and studying Mechanical Engineering.

Kiwanis was founded in 1948 and is the oldest service organization in Los Alamos and focuses on youth projects.
