Join Mountaineers on Hiking Adventure from Pajarito Mountain Through Valle Grande

LAM News:

The Los Alamos Mountaineers will host a special hike Saturday, Sept. 28 through the Valles Caldera National Preserve.
 
The adventure will start in the morning at the bottom of the Aspen lift, ride to the top, then continue down the back of Pajarito Mountain to the floor of the Valle Grande. Hikers will traverse the edge of the valley floor, along the base of Cerro Grande and then hike one mile up the Valle Grande trail to the cars on N.M. 4.
 
From there, hikers will shuttle back to Ullrfest at Pajarito Mountain to enjoy the music and beer. The cost is $15, including $5 for a lift pass (free to Pajarito season pass holders), and $10 for the Valle Preserve. The trip may be limited to the first 20 people who sign up via e-mail to Patti Walls (Patwalls47@gmail.com), who will communicate the meeting place and time to participants.
