LAHM News:

History Adventures, the children’s summer program presented by the Los Alamos History Museum, begins June 5. Hands-on history activities that will have kids moving, making, thinking, sharing and learning will take place every Tuesday morning in June and July. History Adventures is free, and no registration is required.

Children going into 1st–3rd grade can participate along with their caregivers 9:30-10:30 a.m. on the lawn at Fuller Lodge at 2132 Central Ave.

This summer the History Museum is excited to partner with the Youth Activity Center for History Adventures, and children going into 4th–6th grade can meet 10:45-11:45 a.m at the YAC at 475 20th St., Suite F). If you haven’t signed your child up for membership with the YAC, they are welcome to attend as a guest.

This summer History Adventures features activities from favorite presenters including the aparejo burro packers, Fuller Lodge Art Center, and the Jemez Historic Site. Thanks to support from the Los Alamos Creative District, Curious Chris will be bringing his singing “Symbols of Enchantment” program to History Adventures. There will be fun, hands-on history activities from these presenters and more every Tuesday morning from June 5 through July 31.
