Johnson Is Best Predictor In Weekly Pace Race

Tristan Johnson, 6, is the top predictor at 6 seconds off his predicted time in the Atomic City Road Runners weekly pace race on American Springs Road in the Jemez.
 
Other accurate predictors were: Anna Teterovskaya with a 15 second differential, Ryan Smeltzer at 16 seconds off, Roxana Candia off by 18 seconds as well as the first female finisher in the 1 mile distance recording a 8:08, tied with a 21 second difference Adrian Medin, 8, who also was the best finisher in the 1 mile race at 8:07 and Sanna Sevanto also the top female finisher in the 3 mile distance with a time of 29:29.
 
Zach Medin was the fastest finisher on the 3 mile course at 22:21.
 
Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 18 on the “PowerlineTrail” 3.2 miles from the N.M. 4 and Parajito Road junction in White Rock on N.M. 4 westbound toward Bandelier National Monument on the left or 10 miles after turning left at the Back Gate (junction of West Jemez Road/N.M. 501 and N.M. 4) and heading eastbound on N.M.4 past the entrance to Bandelier National Monument on the right. 1 and 3 mile trail courses will be available.
