Jemez Mountain Trail Races Registration Opens

The Ninth Annual Jemez Mountain Trails Races are scheduled for Saturday, May 24, 2014. Registration for the 50 kilometer and 50 mile races open Dec. 1. The half marathon (13.1 mile) option will be open for registration Feb. 1, 2014. These races fill up quickly. Register soon at: http://ultrasignup.com/register.aspx?did=24422.

The Jemez Mountain Trail Races are a wonderful community event that takes full advantage of our beautiful mountain trail running network around town, up Pajarito Mountain, and through the Valles Caldera. Last year more than 600 runners participated. 

Through registration fees and generous national and local sponsors, the race gave back more than $15,000 to local charitable and non-profit organizations as well as supporting two scholarships for Los Alamos High School graduating seniors.
